Josh Reed

Josh Reed returns for his second season this spring/summer after being an assistant coach in the fall with the 13U East team. A native of Alexandria, he attended Bishop Ireton High School where he was a two-sport athlete playing baseball and football. During his high school summers, he was involved with the Alexandria Aces baseball program as the radio and PA announcer. After high school, Josh went on to Hampton University. The school does not have baseball program, however he gathered students from the school to participate in the local recreation league for the love of the game. During his college years, Josh also helped keep the stats for the women’s
softball team who were consistently top 3 in the conference.

Josh Graduated Hampton with a B.S. in Airport Operations. When he is not flying jets, he is on a baseball diamond. He is currently entering his third season as an assistant JV and Varsity coach at Alexandria City High School. One thing Coach Reed wants out of all his players is to take one lesson or skill from him in baseball and one lesson or skill away from him in life.
