Steven Head

The 2025 Fall Season marks Coach Head’s second season here with BBA where he is an assistant coach with our BBA 14U West squad. Prior to coming over to BBA, Coach Head coached with ASBR for 4 years. While working as a strength coach for the St. James in 2021, Steven also served as head coach for one of their 12U travel teams. In the summer of 2021, Coach Head took a break from coaching in order to complete a 3-month internship with one of the industry’s highest profile organizations: Cressey Sports Performance, where he worked training  both MLB and MiLB players.

In 2007, he earned The Ripken Academy’s Certified Baseball Coach designation, and in 2011 the International Youth Conditioning Association’s High School Strength & Conditioning Specialist.

Over the years Coach Head has volunteered his time, sharing his love of the game through  the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy and the Diamond Dream Foundation.
