General Information
Bradley Baseball Academia is a year-round organization that offers travel, academic showcase and college aged teams during all the Spring, Summer and Fall. Prospective players must tryout to receive an offer to play on one of our teams. We hold multiple tryouts throughout the year, and this page will be updated regularly as tryout information becomes available. All of our teams participate in our development trainings, led by our Director of Development, Stan Exeter which focuses heavily on personalized development work to improve and prepare for the upcoming weekend’s games. Additionally, all of our teams will participate in local, as well as out of town tournaments, and our Academic Showcase and Prep teams will also receive first hand campus tours from college coaches while participating in pro style workouts and simulated games in front of these coaches. Our college summer team plays locally and are comprised of current student athletes from all over the country.
Summer Season – Late May thru mid to late July (13U & 14U) Mid June to early August (High School)
We field one team per age division here at BBA. Our teams are our 13U, 14U, Academic 15U, Academic 16U, Academic 17U, Academic Showcase Team, as well as our BBA College Eagles Team during the summer months. The summer season is the the busiest for BBA and requires the most commitment from our players with more weekly activities and a heavier tournament/event focus. See below for additional info on our Academic Showcase and Collegiate teams.
Summer Weekly Schedule: 1-2 weekday games/practices, optional IW’s, Weekend Double Header or Tournament
Fall Season – Late August thru Late October
Just like our summer season, we field one team per age division during our fall season. These teams are our 13U, 14U, Academic 15U, Academic 16U, Academic 17U, and Academic Showcase Team. The fall tends to be the season with less games and more practices and skills trainings to allow our staff to focus heavily on development while allowing many of our student athletes to take advantage of playing an additional sport. This varies depending on the age group, as our Academic Showcase Team plays in more events, tournaments and showcases than our younger teams.
13/14u Weekly Schedule: 1 midweek activity, Wednesday Night Skills Training, Weekend Double Header/Tournament
High School Weekly Schedule: 1 week day practice, 1 game during the week, and weekend Double Header/Tournament. (*Tournament weekend schedules vary)
Spring Season – Mid March thru Mid May
During the spring season we field one 13U and one 14U team, while the rest of our athletes play for their high school programs.
13/14u Weekly Schedule: Monday Night Practice, Tuesday Night Game, Weekly IW’s, Weekend Double Header/Tournament (*Tournament weekend schedules vary)
