Zach Bridwell

Coach Zach Bridwell was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He graduated from Northwood High School in 2017. A four-year starter and two-time captain on the school’s varsity baseball team he finished first all-time in career starts and third all-time in career hits. A firm believer in multi-sport athletics he was a captain and played quarterback on Northwood’s varsity football team and ran indoor track. During the summer he played travel baseball with the BCC Patriots.

After graduation Coach Bridwell attended Concordia College-Moorhead to play baseball for Hall of Fame Coach Bucky Burgau and World Series Champion Chris Coste. Injury and subsequent surgery ended his college baseball career but opened up a new path to coaching.

He coached at Northwood high school during the 2019 spring season working mainly with pitchers and infielders. In the spring of 2021 he  graduated from University of Maryland-College Park, with a Bachelors Degree in History. He is currently attending Graduate school at his alma mater studying Secondary Education. Coach Bridwell is entering his fourth season with BBA in the summer of 2021.
