Zach Bridwell

Coach Zach Bridwell was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He graduated from Northwood High School in 2017. A four-year starter on the school’s varsity baseball team he finished first all-time in career starts and third all-time in career hits. A firm believer in multi-sport athletics he played quarterback on Northwood’s varsity football team and ran indoor track. During the summer he played travel baseball ball with the BCC Patriots.

After graduation Bridwell attended Concordia College-Moorhead to play baseball for Hall of Fame coach Bucky Burgau and World Series Champion Chris Coste. Injury and subsequent surgery ended his college baseball career but opened up a new path to coaching.

He coached at his Northwood high school during the 2019 spring season working mainly with pitchers and infielders. He is currently attending the University of Maryland-College Park, studying Secondary Education and History. Coach Bridwell is entering his second season with BBA in the fall of 2020.
